UConn-Holy Family ready to start

By Carl Adamec

Plenty of good seats available at the XL Center for tonight’s exhibition between the University of Connecticut and Division II Holy Family because of the weather conditions in Hartford. About 1,000-2,000 in the stands 10 minutes before tipoff.

The Huskies have a slight change in their starting lineup from the one they had against Indiana University of Pennsylvania with freshman Breanna Stewart getting the nod over Morgan Tuck. She’ll be joined by freshman Moriah Jefferson, sophomore Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, junior Stefanie Dolson, and senior Kelly Faris. Stewart’s status was in a bit of doubt because she missed practice Monday and Tuesday with a foot injury suffered against IUP.

Holy Family plays the No. 2 team in Division I tonight. The Tigers opened the regular season against Bentley, ranked No. 2 in Division II, Sunday.
