Former UConn men’s basketball coach Jim Calhoun had cancer surgery this spring and still hasn’t ruled out coaching.

In an interview conducted for the YES Network show Center Stage, Calhoun talked about a surgery to remove a growth on his lung. Reached later on by the Associated Press, Calhoun confirmed it was “cancer-related.”

Calhoun also didn’t close the door on coaching saying: “I would never say never.”
