UConn will indeed host the top ranked team in the nation tonight.
Louisville has moved to No. 1 in the AP poll today jumping over Duke and Michigan, which lost this weekend.
This will be the first time the Huskies played the nation’s No. 1 ranked since an 88-74 win over Texas in Jan. of 2010.
The Huskies are 2-6 All-Time against the No. 1 ranked team in the nation. UConn also beat no. 1 duke for the ncaa title in 1999.
The 12-3 Huskiness remained outside the top 25 despite defeating Notes Dame on the road. The Huskies are the second most teams receiving votes.
