The top was easy. Notre Dame is headed to the BCS title game against the SEC title game winner. Nothing too surprising in the top 14 or so. Now, the bottom half of the Top 25 all lost. That bodes well for Louisville and Rutgers, which both will likely stay ranked because of it.

As for my ballot, rough going 16-25. It’s about time we elevated the MAC undefeateds in Northern Illinois and Kent State. I also have Boise up there by virtue of not losing (because they didn’t play). It will sort out next week. Is the MAC championship game for a BCS berth? Possibly. We’ll see what the rankings are when they come out later today.

I just can’t put Ohio State in the conversation without a bowl game. I am counting their probation as a loss instead of a win or no contest. So, I look at the Buckeyes as 12-1. I can’t put them in contention then because of that.  That’s simple.
