Four Huskies to NFL combine

The UConn defense wasn’t one of the top defenses in the country with smoke and mirrors.

There was plenty of talent on it and that was reaffirmed today with the announcement that four UConn players are headed to the NFL Combine, all on defense.

Corners Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Dwayne Gratz, defensive end Trevardo Williams and linebacker Sio Moore were invited to take part in the combine from February 20-26 in Indianapolis.

While being invited to the combine doesn’t mean you are assured to be drafted, it’s a good barometer as to what NFL teams think are the top prospects in the draft.

UConn had one player drafted last season, Kendall Reyes in the second round to the San Diego Chargers.
